Fall of Rome: A Fact Finding Mission
Over the next three weeks you will become an expert in the reasons why the Western Roman Empire fell (around 476 CE). You will:
- research the various causes
- discuss their strengths and weaknesses
- debate whether or not the fall was inevitable
(unavoidable, or bound to happen)
- and, finally, write an argumentative essay
about the empire's collapse
